He wasn’t making much of an effort to conceal his presence because she could hear her father working on the opposite side of the yard. He wasn’t exactly making an effort to hide the fact that he was present. When she finally got to the shed after what seemed like a lifetime, she noticed that he had already placed garbage cans in front of each of the windows.

She could see nothing but shadows, which prohibited her from going any further inside the building and getting a better look inside of it. She could only make out shadows when she looked about.

Despite the fact that she felt she should speak up, she preferred to remain silent and concentrate on her listening in the hopes of figuring out what her father was up to. It’s possible she’ll come up with something that makes use of the noises, but there’s no guarantee. On the other side, he wasn’t using any instruments, and the procedure was progressing at a breakneck pace.
