Based on the biography that Sylvia Nasar wrote, A Beautiful Mind tells the story of John Forbes Nash, a child prodigy and mathematical genius. Akiva Goldsman adapted and wrote screenplay, and Russell Crowe played Nash. Directed by Ron Howard, the movie won the Best Picture at the Academy Awards. The life story of Nash is incredible. When he was young, he made an incredible discovery and was poised to become famous all over the world for his mathematical genius. However, his career torpedoed when he started struggling with schizophrenia. The film depicts his painful journey as a young man on the road to self-discovery.

American Sniper (2014)

Clint Eastwood is the director of American Sniper, which stars Bradley Cooper. The actor plays U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, who was recorded as America’s most dangerous sniper of all time, both to Middle Eastern civilians and combatants. The film is based on the military record of Kyle, which is later revealed to have been inflated by the sniper. Aside from a good performance at the box office, American Sniper was also nominated for six Academy Awards. Later, an Iraq War veteran whom Kyle was helping recover from PTSD killed Kyle. Overall, the film had a box office gross of $547.4 million.
