For Disney fans, you will get a look behind the scenes of one of the most famous stories of Walt Disney – Mary Poppins. Tom Hanks plays as Disney while Emma Thompson portrays P.L. Travers, the writer of the book series, “Mary Poppins”. The movie focuses on the tense negotiations between Travers and Disney over the copyright permissions that the film can have. The film was a great play for Walt Disney Pictures. They basically capitalized on a story which they had lying around. The budget for the film was $35 million but it had a box office gross of $117.9 million. Centered around the making of a story beloved and cherished by generations, this Tom Hanks vehicle was definitely able to peddle nostalgia.

Olivia Colman took over the role of Queen Elizabeth II after two seasons as the entire cast switched over. The show does this every two seasons to portray a realistic aging process. Colman discussed how this role was one of the hardest she has ever had to prepare for and act in, this is because no one actually knows what the queen is like out of the public eye. This was a major role for Colman as being employed for a straight two years is a great feeling for actors and actresses.
