Released in 2019, Bombshell was was nominated for several Academy Awards. This film stars Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron, Margot Robbie, and John Lithgow as employees at Fox News. A News Corp subsidiary, Fox was rocked by several scandals which eventually led to Roger Ailes (portrayed by John Lithgow) leaving Fox. This movie is based on Megyn Kelly’s and Gretchen Carlson’s real-life accounts. The two on-air personalities brought the scandal to light. The film ended up becoming a stirring awards darling.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood stars Tom Hanks as the popular and well-loved TV host Fred Rogers. He has a famous show called, Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, which is one of America’s most famous children show. Mr. Rogers was widely known not only for his penchant for sweaters, but also for his kindness and quiet dedication to various social causes. Even his show was home to major corporations, it was always available on PBS (public access television) since Rogers wanted to give children a chance to watch quality education programming whatever their financial status or background.
