On The Basis Of Sex (2018)
The 2018 biographical drama On the Basis of Sex is based on the true story of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. It covers her life when she was a law student and lawyer, and includes her early cases and different personal struggles, such as her husband, Martin, getting diagnosed with cancer while he was also a law student. Universal Studios and Focus Features co-produced this movie, which premiered at the AFI Fest in November 2018, and in the US in December 2018. Aside from the generally positive reviews that the movie received, Felicity Jones’ portrayal of Ginsburg was also well-received.

Lizzie (2018)
Released in 2018, Lizzie was a biographical thriller about Lizzie Borden. She was charged with the murders of her family in the New England Fall River but was later acquitted. Her role in the gruesome 1892 axe murders has never been really clear. Chloe Sevigny played Lizzie (aside from serving as executive producer). Craig MacNeill directed the tense thriller, and Bryce Kass was its screenwriter. The film premiered at Sundance and nine months later, it received a theatrical release.
