Her Life Story
For Briana Hefley Shepard, her nightmare felt like it had come true. Because the community was very tight-knit, she didn’t imagine anything like that happening. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to a building company owner. In the Pearl District, which was east of downtown, Alrac Electric was based. The Hefley family witnessed the area becoming crime-ridden and rundown over three decades. The transformation also meant certain improvements for their company.

They Run A Family Company
Alrac Electric was the company of a family. It was owned and administered by Briana’s parents. Besides that, Brent, her husband, was an electrician employed by the company. She worked as a Second Language teacher in English, which meant she worked mostly in the afternoon. She would be at the office in the mornings to assist with all the tasks required to be done. She knew her parents could use a hand.
