Slipped Pants
Sagging jeans were embraced by LA gangs and hip-hop musicians in the 1990s as an anti-authoritarian statement, allegedly inspired by the belt restriction in the US jail system. Dropping your jeans beneath your butt if you’re not too is, at best, short-sighted and, at worst, cultural appropriation. While tailoring should sit closer to your waist to prevent an acre of shirt from showing between your jacket closure and your pants, jeans should sit on your hips so your legs swing appropriately from yours.

The best example of deceptive advertising in the twenty-first century might be Crocs. century 21. Foam clogs are what you would expect to find with a name like that; nevertheless, you wouldn’t. Foam. clogged. All of this doesn’t sound nice, does it? No one really cares how comfortable they make your feet feel since, unlike the once-derided Birkenstock sandals, these will never again be considered fashionable.
