The Last Straw
On weekends, David would cut, shape, and style his cypress trees. These trees had been on the property for years and stood next to the fence that enclosed his home. Gardening on the weekends was an escape for David, something that eased his mind after a week of crime-fighting and law enforcement. It took a matter of minutes for a rash neighbor to ruin his weekend activity. David and his neighbors were all acquainted with one another as they had been in a disagreement for a couple of years now. David felt that he had been understanding but this was the cherry on top!
