Given his family history, it may not have come as a surprise when Tom Cruise eventually entered the entertainment business. His mother served drinks while working as a cocktail server and modeling for Playboy, while his father was a Hollywood producer. But it wasn’t an easy road for Cruise to take in order to become one of the biggest cinematic stars of our time. He was a prospective seminary student who was forced to give up wrestling due to a knee injury. From there, Cruise rapidly developed a passion for acting and went on to achieve great success in the business. He kept them on for several months, taking them off only to shoot. He apparently also undergone a number of cosmetic dental operations to enhance his grin. Along with his passionate and engaging demeanor, Cruise is now best known for his bright, 1,000-watt smile.
